Moving mountains

We didn’t quite move mountains, but we did move a river and a roundabout.

Where most people saw a congested roundabout, we saw an opportunity – a new heart for the town centre, a place to stay and play in Lewisham.

Lewisham Gateway provides over 1,000 new homes including co-living opportunities, with open public space, shops, restaurants, a gym, workspace and the borough’s first major multiplex cinema.

At Muse, we aim to make places that are people-centred, high quality and built to last. As well as creating a new community of residents within Lewisham Gateway, we wanted to connect it to the wider borough, giving it a long-term sustainable future and contributing positively to the wider regeneration of the area.
