Solihull's shopping district

Holbeche Place lies at the heart of Solihull’s town centre and shopping district. It is easily accessible on foot, by car or by public transport and hosts some of the country’s most recognisable high-street brands alongside vibrant independent retailers.

A mixed-used neighbourhood

We’re working in partnership to create a mixed-used neighbourhood in and around Holbeche Place, with new homes alongside shops, bars and restaurants, complemented by new public spaces which will underpin life in Solihull’s vibrant town centre for decades to come.

Flexible public spaces

We want to create a vibrant town centre, fit for the future. Attracting new restaurants, bars and retailers will complement the town centre’s existing offer and diversify its night-time economy. And delivering well-designed, flexible public spaces and routes that better connect Holbeche Place to the wider town centre and become a hive of activity for business, meeting and relaxing.

A choice of homes

Creating a mixed residential neighbourhood to increase housing choice for existing communities and attract new residents, including younger people to Solihull.

High-quality and sustainable

Building high-quality, sustainable buildings that set the standard for new developments in the town centre.
