Residents, local businesses and creatives came together at Cerulean Quarter in Canning Town for a community-led event celebrating the area’s culture and character.

Art in the Park took place at Green Haven Park , directly adjacent to Cerulean Quarter, on Saturday 25th April. The day saw the transformation of the skate park by local street artists, with a live demonstration creating a colourful artwork that celebrated the culture and fabric of the area.

Throughout the afternoon, visitors took part in a range of free activities, including an art station for younger residents, while local businesses including Zzetta and Yapix Coffee and Wine House provided food and refreshments.

Visitors on the day were also invited to learn more about Cerulean Quarter and the remaining homes available, with tours carried out of the show homes throughout the afternoon.

Delivered in partnership with Homes England, L&G and Muse, alongside the London Borough of Newham, the Greater London Authority and Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, Cerulean Quarter forms part of the wider regeneration of Canning Town.

Stephanie Smith, Head of Residential, said:

It was fantastic to welcome the community to our Art in the Park event at Cerulean Quarter. It was a chance to come together and celebrate all the things that make Canning Town such a special place to live.”

“At Cerulean Quarter, and across all our projects, we strive to create homes and shared spaces that feel welcoming and genuinely support the local community.

“The event was a lovely opportunity to bring neighbours together and it was great to see so many local residents there, along with other visitors who had the chance to experience the sense of community and everyday life at Cerulean Quarter.”
