We’ve recently grown our Midlands team with four new appointments.

We’ve also announced our expansion to our new office at Northspring | Temple Street, which has a wealth of amenities and located prominently right in Birmingham city centre.

Basit Ali has joined as a development director, with Sharne Sahajpal joining as a development manager. Iona MacRury has joined as regional marketing and communications manager and will also support Muse’s southern team. PA and office manager, Rachel Conway, will also be joining the growing team. All four will help drive the growth of our business in the Midlands.

We opened our office in Birmingham in 2022, with existing offices in Manchester, London, and Leeds. This followed selection as the development partner for the 346-acre Arden Cross project. Arden Cross is one of the UK’s most important regeneration opportunities.

We have also been selected by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council as the preferred development partner for the regeneration of Mell Square in Solihull Town Centre.

As part of ECF , a partnership between Muse, Legal & General, and Homes England, we will also lead on the delivery of City Centre West in Wolverhampton. ECF has been identified as the preferred development partner by City of Wolverhampton Council.

Maggie Grogan, managing director for Muse – Midlands, said:

Muse has been operating in the Midlands for 12 months. Our work in Wolverhampton and in Solihull already reflects our ambition. We want to deliver quality place-making and regeneration, which has a real impact on people’s lives.”

Maggie also said: “We are now investing in the right talent to help take key projects, and the business, forward. This includes investing in high-quality new office space so we can continue to grow.”

Richard Williams, Director at Lambert Smith Hampton, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Muse to Northspring | Temple Street, this latest letting, is a true reflection of the quality of businesses that are joining the Northspring family. We’ve seen a huge amount of interest in the remaining floors and expect to announce many more lettings in the coming weeks”
