Supporting The Big Fun Art Adventure in Tottenham Hale

We’re proud to be supporting The Big Fun Art Adventure, as part of our ongoing work to create a vibrant waterside neighbourhood at Hale Wharf in Tottenham.

A partnership between North London Hospice and Wild in Art, The Big Fun Art Adventure will bring an exciting and free art sculpture trail to North London for families to enjoy.

More than 30 giant owl sculptures, alongside a parliament of 30 smaller owlets designed by local schools and community groups, will hide in plain sight on the streets and in the parks this summer.

Each owl will be sponsored by a business and individually designed and decorated by local artists, celebrating the vibrancy, culture and creativity that North London has to offer.

As part of the trail, we’re sponsoring our very own owl, which will be homed in The Paddock nature reserve, which sits next to our Hale Wharf community in Tottenham.

The owls will swoop into North London in August and after eight weeks, will be auctioned off to raise money for North London Hospice.

Our team recently attended the sponsorship event where we were able to choose the design of our owl.

Isabelle Asante, Senior Development Manager said:

It’s an honour for Muse to be a sponsor of the Big Fun Art Adventure 2024 which supports the great work provided by the North London Hospice.”

“Its always within our best interest to support the community in which we work in, so to be able to be a part of such a great cause that will encourage footfall to the area is really rewarding.”

Declan Carroll, CEO North London Hospice

Completing at the end of Summer 2024, Hale Wharf has transformed a forgotten waterside area in Tottenham, creating hundreds of new homes including affordable homes, and opening up new public spaces and walking routes for the community.

We’ve made the most of the waterside location, with floating reed beds, green walkways, and improved access for commercial barges.

Tottenham Hale is one of the Mayor of London’s priority Housing Zones, meaning Hale Wharf is making an important contribution to the city’s housing supply.

Declan Carroll, CEO North London Hospice said:

“Last night was the start of something special for North London Hospice. We have spent a long time planning this summer’s Big Fun Art Adventure, so it was incredible to see it start coming to life with Muse and our other sponsors together in the room choosing the designs they want for their giant owl sculptures.”

We are touched by their generosity and by the spirit of the businesses in our community uniting to support our vital charity in this way. ”

“It wasn’t easy for them to choose though. With over 100 designs submitted by professional artists and 60 shortlisted, it was a tough job for our sponsors to narrow it down to their top 3 choices. We are hugely grateful to Muse for coming on this journey with us and can’t wait to bring businesses, organisations, schools, community groups and the public together to raise awareness in a fun, colourful and memorable way this summer.”
