A shared vision

Thanks to an ambitious shared vision and a strong, lasting partnership, Salford Central is now a community of world class workspaces for businesses, over 1,000 new homes and sits right at the forefront of Salford’s success.

Two cities united

It all started with a vision. A vision to link two cities. To create a place buzzing with people, businesses and life… a hive of activity. A place where people wanted to live, work and hang out. A major contributor to the success of Salford.

Delivery through thick and thin

It continued with determination, innovative-thinking and a lot of problem-solving to make that vision a reality. We supplied the long-term structure and support to create a community which residents, international businesses and small independents now call home.

We're raising the bar

In Salford we’re setting new standards for sustainability. Our net zero in operation workspace, Eden, has achieved international accreditations which makes it one of the most environmentally friendly buildings in the UK.

A new eden

Eden’s living wall is adorned with over 350,000 plants, making it the largest in Europe. With running costs 60% cheaper than a traditional office, it’ll be home to forward-thinking businesses who take their green credentials seriously.

A true partnership

Delivering a vision on this scale can’t be done alone. It needs multiple parties working towards a shared goal.

In Salford, we’ve been working closely with our partners for more than a decade, listening to each other and utilising each other’s skills to deliver a brighter future for the city. Of course, we’ve met hurdles, but we’ve all rolled our sleeves up to come up with solutions, together.

Partners

Salford Central has been delivered by ECF in collaboration with Salford City Council. ECF is a long-term strategic partnership between Muse, Homes England and Legal & General.
