Our Five Total Commitments

Morgan Sindall Group believe in making great places a reality, driven by our culture, values and guiding principles. Sustainability is embedded in everything we do, from our Group Values to our Five Total Commitments.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

We actively support the UN Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on six key goals that align closely with our commitments to environmental stewardship, community wellbeing, and responsible business practices.

8. Decent Work & Growth
9. Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure
10. Reduced Inequalities
11. Sustainable Cities
12. Responsible Consumption and Production
13. Climate Action

Leading the Way in Decarbonisation

Decarbonisation is at the heart of our sustainability vision. We are dedicated to reducing operational carbon emissions, and only invest in high-quality carbon offsets located in the UK that deliver benefits for biodiversity and communities locally.

Growing Natural Capital

In partnership with the Blenheim Estate in Oxfordshire, we’re planting over 270,000 trees across nine new woodlands—transforming landscapes and supporting our environmental goals. Carbon and nature offset credits generated from these projects will help us offset annual emissions from 2030.

Restoring Wetlands

Morgan Sindall Group is working with the RSPB to restore 54 hectares of wetlands for wildlife, climate and people at their Lakenheath Fen reserve in Norfolk. The project will expand the reserve and allow habitat and wildlife to flourish, whilst reducing carbon emissions and making the reserve a thriving, vibrant space for visitors.

Peatland Conservation

Morgan Sindall Group is working with North Pennines AONB and Yorkshire Peat Partnership to fund peatland conservation and restoration in the uplands of the North of England. Restoration of the Great North Bog will in time avoid annual carbon losses estimated at 3.7 Mn tonnes per year, reducing UK peatland emissions by almost 20%
