Muse backs Solihull Pride for second year

Solihull Pride returned in August for a vibrant celebration of inclusivity, diversity and community spirit.

For the second year, the event was supported by Muse and the team delivering Holbeche Place.

Organised by Solihull BID and hosted by award-winning presenter Phil Oldershaw, Mell Square provided the focal point for performances from Kylie tribute act Rogue Minogue, Drag ABBA, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and the Boogaloo Babes, alongside a bustling street food market.

We joined residents and visitors at the celebration, with a Muse stand to share more about Holbeche Place, our plans to transform Mell Square and the next steps for the redevelopment.

Holbeche Place is being delivered by Muse in partnership with Solihull Council. The masterplan will deliver around 1,600 new homes, alongside shops, cafes, restaurants and green public spaces. It will bring fresh investment into Solihull while building on what already makes the town centre successful.

Over the last 12 months, we have made significant progress. Outline planning consent has been granted for the masterplan, alongside detailed consent for the first two phases.

Around £20 million of public-sector investment has also been secured from the West Midlands Combined Authority, enabling initial works and demolition to begin later in 2026.
