Revitalising a key area of the historic town centre

City Place is a central component of Cheshire West and Chester Council’s 15-year strategy to guide the economic regeneration of Chester and its historic town centre.

It is home to Grade A office spaces, new homes and a hotel as part of Chester’s new Central Business Quarter.

Innovative public space for Chester at Carriage Shed

The jewel in the crown of City Place is the Carriage Shed, a former engine house, which has been transformed into an innovative public space that hosts a number of events throughout the year and is a popular destination for locals and visitors to Chester.
