Steeped in history

Forge Island is our place-changing £47 million transformation of the former Rotherham Forge, into a vibrant retail and leisure destination for the whole family to enjoy.

The place, which is steeped in history, has been delivered in partnership with Rotherham Council which now showcases a new 68-screen The Arc cinema, a 69-room Travelodge hotel, alongside independent bars and restaurants. There’s also scope at Forge Island to bring forward up to 70 homes under current planning consent.

A real sense of place

Forge Island is set within an attractive public square, complete with a play area and a new bridge to connect it to the wider town centre, to create a real sense of place.
