Muse strengthens its north west team with raft of new appointments

We’ve expanded our north west team with the appointment of six new members, welcoming James Alderson as project director, Nathan Chase and Nick Self as senior project managers, Ben Taylor and Jake Hall as assistant project managers and Jokotola Adenuga as graduate development manager.

The new additions to the team, based in our Salford office, bring a wealth of experience in delivering major regeneration across the UK, further enhancing the team’s capability to deliver the spaces and places that are breathing new life into towns and cities across the region.

James joins Muse with over 37 years’ experience in the built environment sector, most recently acting as project director on the £120m Stopford Park regeneration in Stockport. He has also previously held senior roles with Cityheart, Investar Property Group, Mulbury, Arcadis and Grosvenor and has been involved in the delivery of some of the UK’s most significant and iconic mixed-use regeneration programmes, including Liverpool ONE and Spinningfields. At Muse, he’ll be drawing on this experience to lead on the delivery of Ashton Moss Innovation Park in Tameside, as well as overseeing Stockport 8’s creation and the continued advancement of the Stockport Exchange commercial quarter.

Nathan rejoins Muse as senior project manager, having previously worked with the business before most recently leading major capital investment projects for MBDA UK. Aided by his experience in overseeing complex regeneration, Nathan will be supporting on the delivery of Marina Village in Barrow, helping create a vibrant new waterfront neighbourhood for the town.

Nick brings more than a decade of experience in the property industry, most recently with Peabody Group in London where he helped deliver hundreds of new homes in Thamesmead. He has extensive experience working across public and private sector partnerships, leading multidisciplinary teams and helping create sustainable, high-quality places for communities to live and thrive.

James, Nathan and Nick are joined at Muse by a further trio of regeneration specialists. Ben arrives from Renaker with experience delivering high-rise residential developments across Manchester; Jake makes the switch from Scarborough Group International, bringing expertise in design coordination, procurement and site delivery; and Jokotola comes in as a graduate development manager after securing a First Class Honours degree in Urban Planning and Real Estate from University College London.

All three will support on the delivery of various regeneration programmes across the North West, helping to revitalise some of the region’s most iconic towns and cities.
