At Muse, we know that delivering great places starts with great people.

That’s why we’re delighted to welcome four new colleagues to our southern team as we continue to build momentum across London and the South.

These appointments mark an important step in our ambition to grow our South regional business by 50% over the next three years, and they come at a pivotal moment. With major projects progressing and a growing pipeline across the region, expanding our team ensures we have the right skills, experience and capacity to deliver high-quality, mixed-use neighbourhoods that make a real difference to people’s lives.

We’re pleased to welcome Matthew Barter and William Collomosse as Development Managers, Tom Curtis as Senior Project Manager, and Gemma Holt as Personal Assistant.

Matthew joins us from DS2, where he advised clients including HUB, Mount Anvil and Hill Group. At Muse, he’ll be working on the next phases of development at Manor Road Quarter in Canning Town and Bristol Temple Quarter, while also supporting new business activity across the South.

William brings valuable public-sector regeneration experience from his time at Lambert Smith Hampton, where he advised on major opportunities such as Northstowe and Weyside Urban Village, and led the procurement of a development partner for Phase 3B of Northstowe on behalf of Homes England. He’ll be focusing on Bristol Temple Quarter, Stevenage Station Gateway, and Purfleet-on-Thames.

Tom joins us from Amro Partners, where he led the delivery of build-to-rent and co-living neighbourhoods across London. He’ll be managing delivery across several key projects, including Plymouth, Purfleet-on-Thames and the North West Quadrant in Slough.

Gemma joins as Personal Assistant, bringing experience from a range of sectors, including housing associations and the creative industries. She’ll be supporting several members of our senior leadership team as we continue to grow and evolve.

These new roles reflect the scale and ambition of our southern pipeline, which now represents more than 4,400 homes, including over 800 affordable homes and more than 2,600 build-to-rent homes. They also follow key milestones for Muse in the region, including our appointment as preferred development partner for Bristol Temple Quarter and the recent signing of the development agreement at Stevenage Station Gateway.

With nearly 40 years of experience delivering complex, mixed-use regeneration, we’re proud of our track record across the South, from Manor Road Quarter in Canning Town to Stroudley Walk in Bromley-by-Bow. As our projects continue to progress, our growing team will play a vital role in ensuring we deliver places that are inclusive, sustainable and shaped around local communities.

Simon Harding-Roots, Regional Managing Director for the South at Muse, said:

We are boosting our team with a breadth of experience across complex mixed-use regeneration and housing delivery.”

“This will be key in supporting our growth ambitions and shaping the next generation of neighbourhoods across the South.”

“This is especially important as we continue to build momentum in the region following the signing of the development agreement at Stevenage Gateway and our appointment as preferred partner for Bristol Temple Quarter.”

“As our neighbourhoods develop across the South, our expanded team will be ensuring that we continue to deliver places that improve the lives of local people.”
