Hale Wharf, our tranquil and connected waterside neighbourhood in Tottenham Hale, has been shortlisted for five major awards, recognising its excellence in design, regeneration, and partnership.
Delivered by Waterside Places, our partnership with Canal & River Trust, Hale Wharf has created an inclusive community with 505 new homes, including 191 homes for Affordable Rent.
Sitting within the Mayor of London’s Tottenham Housing Zone, it was also an opportunity to deliver against the priorities of the local authority by delivering new homes and new affordable homes.
At Hale Wharf, we’ve curated a multi-generational community including apartments and family homes, ensuring the community is vibrant, dynamic and sustainable.
Housing Design Awards
Hale Wharf was recognised for transforming an isolated island into a permeable and connected community with three new bridges connecting to a nature reserve and the nearby urban centres of Tottenham Hale and Hale Village.
ESG Edge Awards – Excellence in Site Regeneration
Hale Wharf has been recognised for revitalising a neglected brownfield site, breathing new life into an existing space with a strong focus on nature, sustainability and social value.

Hale Wharf has been commended for bold regeneration delivering tangible improvements in living conditions and environment, reactivating a long-overlooked brownfield site and strengthening connections to the Paddock Community Nature Reserve and wider Lee Valley.
