Three years of Muse in the Midlands: Delivering our ambition

Three years ago, Muse arrived in the Midlands with huge ambition but a limited track record in the region and emerging relationships.

Last week, we brought together friends, partners, and colleagues from across the region to celebrate how far we’ve come.

The Muse Spring Social has become an annual fixture. This year, it was held at the Ikon Gallery – the internationally acclaimed contemporary art gallery – which hosted our very first social in 2023.

Each year, it is an opportunity to celebrate the team’s achievements over the last 12 months with all those who have supported us and helped us deliver.

The past year has seen us kick-start delivery at Smithgate in Wolverhampton, achieve planning consent for the Holbeche Place masterplan, and make continued progress at Greyfriars and Arden Cross.

Across Wolverhampton, Solihull, and West Northamptonshire we are delivering thousands of new homes, creating new jobs, and transforming places with new shops, restaurants, cafes, and public spaces.

Alongside ECF, our partnership with L&G and Homes England, and Habiko, our partnership with PIC and Homes England, Muse is becoming one of the Midlands’ most important delivery partners.

Maggie Grogan, Managing Director – Midlands, at Muse, said:

When Muse first came to the region in 2022, we had huge ambitions, but were relatively unknown to the region, we didn’t have a regional team, and our local relationships were emerging.”

“Over the last three years we’ve proved what we can do. We’ve achieved everything we hoped and are becoming one of the Midlands’ most important delivery partners.”

“We’ve built deep and productive relationships across the public and private sector, and grown a hugely skilled, capable, and professional team.”

“The level of our ambition remains the same, but we now have an exceptional foundation to build from. That is thanks to all those who joined us at the Ikon Gallery, and who have supported and enabled everything we have achieved.”
